We've a strong research and development team and engineering team with nearly 8 years of experience in designing and manufacturing stainless water bottles and glass bottles, so we're able to provide custom bottle service to customers who want to design new shapes of bottles, cups, mugs, coffee cups or food containers.

Our research and development team will review customers' design ideas and give professional advice on the necessary changes, possible shapes, costs, etc. After discussion with the customer, we release the 3D drawing to get the customer's final approval and confirmation on size, capacity, surface treatment, lid type, etc.

Custom Shape Water Bottle Tumbler Mold Tooling Processes

Step 1: Sign NDA

NDA is the abbreviation of Non-Disclosure Agreement. Before you disclose any confidential information (such as drawing or design concepts) about your custom water bottle project, we sign NDA with you.

Step 2: Complete Design Drawing

Base your drawing, our engineering team will release DFM (Design For Manufacturing) report and help revise the drawing. If you only have a design concept without drawings, our R&D team offers design support to complete the drawing.

Step 3: Quotation & Payment

After having all your requirement, we quote for both tooling cost and product pricing. Payment term for tooling is that, 50% deposit and 50% after sample approved by you. Payment term for mass production is normally 30% deposit + 70% balance before shipment.

Step 4: Tooling Fabrication & Sample Approval

Lead time of tooling fabrication is 5 weeks. You will get a 3D printed prototype sample to finalize the design, and T1, T2 samples for final approval on your custom mold design bottle tumblers.

Step 5: Mass Production

After T2 tooling sample is approved and deposit payment received, we then start mass production. The lead time of mass production is 45 days. It’ll be even longer for custom design smart water bottle projects.

Step 6: Final Payment & Shipping

After receiving final payment, we will work with your forwarder to arrange the shipment. If you have no experience in importing from China, we can handle the whole logistics and arrange globally door-to-door shipping.

Yes, it’s our pleasure to provide samples to you for testing. We usually provide exiting model samples for free. If you want to get customized samples, we will charge a little. However, samples charge will be refunded when you place order.

For existing model samples, it takes 2-3 working days. If you want samples with your own designs, it takes 5-7 days or even longer. Let’s discuss case by case.

Any colors with Pantone code for choosing. We have rich experience in matching colors with Pantone Matching System, so you can just tell us the Pantone color code you want and then we handle the others. Tell us you requirement or provide your design in JPG, doc, AI, cdr or PDF format. Our in house designer will work out 3D drawing for your final approval/confirmation. Or just send us the product URL from Amazon or your potential competitor’s website and your idea, we will handle all other jobs.

18/8 and 18/10: These are the two most common grades of stainless steel used for food preparation and dining, also known as Type 304 (304 Grade) and are part of the 300 series. The first number,18, refers to the amount of chromium present and the second represents the amount of nickel.  For example, 18/8 stainless steel is comprised of 18% chromium and 8% nickel. 304 grade stainless steel is also comprised of no more than 0.8% carbon and at least 50% iron. The chromium binds oxygen to the surface of the product to protect the iron from oxidation (rust). Nickel also enhances the corrosion resistance of stainless steel.  Therefore, the higher the nickel content, the more resistant the stainless steel is to corrosion.
